ArmInfo. The average market price of apartments in the regions of Armenia in 2023 increased by 13.4%, amounting to 130.8 thousand AMD/1 sq.m.
According to cadastral data, the highest prices for apartments in the regions are traditionally held in the resort town of Tsaghkadzor - 412.2 thousand AMD/1 sq.m. on average, withy-o-y growth of 11.2%. This is followed by Abovyan, where the price of an apartment is recorded at 260.7 thousand AMD/1 sq.m., with a y-o-y increase of 5.7%. And the TOP-3 is closed by the city of Vagharshapat, where the cost of a square meter of an apartment is 237.2 thousand AMD, with a y-o-y increase of 10.5%. The lowest prices were recorded in the Tumanyan community (Lori region) - 25.2 thousand AMD/1 sq.m. (with a y-o-y growth of 7%). Slightly higher prices for apartments were recorded: in Chambarak (Gegharkunik region) - 45 thousand AMD/1 sq.m. (with a y-o-y growth of 10.6%), and Akhtala (Lori region) - 46 thousand AMD/1 sq.m. (with a y-o-y growth of 6.5%). At the same time, the number of transactions for the purchase and sale of apartments in the regions of the country over the year decreased by 8.4%, amounting to 5,147. Traditionally, the lion's share in the regions fell on land transactions: 60% or 21,902 transactions, with a y-o-y growth of 2.3%. In total, 12,713.73 hectares of land were sold and purchased, of which 88.8% were of agricultural ones.
land transactions are followed by transactions for the purchase and sale of private houses - 6,435 (a y-o-y increase of 12.9%), garages - 1,486 (a y-o-y increase of 60.6%), public buildings - 1,130 (a y-o-y increase of 3.1% ), and industrial buildings - 446 (a y-o-y decline of 0.4%).
Rental transactions in the regions of Armenia over the year increased by 7.7% - to 5042. In total, 219,628 real estate transactions were completed in Armenia in 2023, which exceeded the year-ago figure by 7.2%.
